Hi there, lovely people! Schellie and William Hogan here with Six Hearts Photography. For those of you that are just checking out our blog, we are International Wedding Photographers based in Atlanta, GA. We are a husband and wife team. We love to travel for weddings, fun, and learning. We, then, love to share the images with you all here! (Read more about us here!)

It’s our goal to consistently learn more about our industry, photography, and love so we can give our brides and grooms the best possible experience and images ever, exactly as they deserve. This goal leads us to many conferences to further hone our photography and public relation skills.

We just went to Nashville, Tennessee for PPA‘s Imaging USA, a conference and expo for Professional Photographers.  This conference was held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. There were 10,000 attendants, tons of great speakers, and many learning opportunities. It really got us pumped up about our company and photographing all you lovers in unique destinations.

We have many more learning experiences coming up that involve travel for you guys to look forward to (okay, mostly for us to look forward to! hehe). Two are nearing now.

Closest is WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) , the largest photography conference and expo held in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand every spring, (You can see photos from last time we went here, and also where we won FIRST PLACE  in a Wedding Photography Competition and published in their official magazine, Rangefinder, here).

Also coming up is Wedding Wire World held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor in Washington D.C. We can’t wait!! 

While in foreign cities, we always seek out the best places to get a photo with the city skyline. Sometimes we’re lucky and the skyline is right outside our window, like here in Los Angeles, and other times we have to do some major Google searches or good ol’ fashion exploring. Either way, we always make it a point to enjoy and photograph the cities we visit for you guys.

We always leave these conferences refreshed and excited to show you all what we’ve learned through our work this year.
