You might remember Katie and Jared from their sneak peek blog post. Katie and Jared are the dream clients photographers talk about, the ones that trust you, that smile constantly, are super friendly, and know how to get down. We are so lucky to have been a part of their wedding day with fellow Galaxy Aliens RobotBooth and Dj Cuttlefish.

Their day began at a loft in Newnan, GA with the bridesmaids and bridesgroom getting ready and hanging out in matching button ups courtesy of Katie and Jared while sipping mimosas. We knew the day was going to be grand.

A bit from Katie:

“Getting married to Jared was a dream come true!  Our goal was to have a fabulous party for all of our family and friends to celebrate our love, so we decided to get married under a pecan tree and have the best reception ever in an old horse stable.  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From the moment  I put on my perfectly sparkled dress (that had pockets!!!), we felt at home and comfortable.”

“To help complete our look, Southern Stems helped us with our bouquets and daffodils.  Daffodils are my favorite flower and Leslie worked them in without my entire bouquet being one flower.  I really wanted wildflowers because to me that is what a spring wedding is all about.  A family friend was able to use Leslie’s flower choices and we created all of the ceremony floral and reception floral. ”

Interested in the Bouquet “Recipe”?

“8 stems of yellow daffodils, 6 stems of ivory daffodils, 7 billy balls, 6 stems of peach parrot tulips, 4 stems of white fuji mums, 5 stems of white snapdragons, 5 stems of blue delphinium, white feverfew with yellow centers and greenery. To be loosely hand tied with “just picked” look and texture. To be hand tied with burlap and lace accent.”

After flirting lots and spending time with their friends, it was time for their ceremony. They had a guest that had everyone smiling, an adorable Chicken.

The cocktail hour and reception was catered by Tulla White,  some of the most delicious event food there is out there.

From Katie:

“In order to have the perfect party atmosphere, we needed a DJ that could throw down, and we were so lucky have found DJ Cuttlefish through our AMAZING photographers at Six Hearts.  Paired up along with the RobotBooth, we gave our guests the party of a lifetime, and enjoyed every part of it ourselves!

We’ve relived April 3rd over and over together and love talking about all of the fun we had on that day.  Our daughters want to do the entire day over again, and I couldn’t agree more!!”

Katie said she chose the style of their wedding by day dreaming forever; we’d say her day dreams were fruitful. 🙂

Loved working with you guys! xoxo
